Material Characteristics Of PVC Tube
- Mar 13, 2018 -

PVC (full name Polyvinylchlorid), the main component of PVC, in addition to other ingredients to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility, and so on. The top layer of the surface mask is lacquer. The main ingredient in the middle is PVC, and the bottom is the back coated adhesive.

The rubber tube structure is usually divided into the inner layer, the outer layer and the skeleton layer (or the middle layer). The inner layer directly bears the wear and erosion of the transport medium, and the outer rubber layer protects the inner part of the rubber hose from damage and erosion by the external environment. The skeleton layer is the pressure bearing layer of the rubber hose, giving the strength and rigidity of the pipe body. The working pressure of the hose depends on the material and structure of the framework.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer)

ABS is used to deliver drinking water, mud and chemicals. The most common use of DWV (drain waste exhaust) applications.

Non plasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) and CPVC (PVC)

UPVC has excellent chemical resistance throughout the working temperature range, and has a wide range of working pressure belts. Due to long term high strength characteristics, stiffness and cost efficiency, UPVC system accounts for a considerable proportion of plastic pipe installation.

CPVC is resistant to a variety of acids, bases, salts, alkanes, halogens and alcohols. It is not resistant to solvents, aromatics, and some chlorinated hydrocarbons.

PP (polypropylene)

Polypropylene is suitable for the use of food, drinking water and ultra pure waters, as well as in the pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries.

PE (polyethylene)

Polyethylene has been successfully used for many years of drinking water and waste water, hazardous waste, and the safe delivery of compressed gases.
